Coast Band Music Web-Site Purchases

1. All internet sales (except software, books, reeds and harmonicas) from Coast Band Music are accompanied with a 3-day trial period.  The customer is allowed 3 days (72 hours) from the date the merchandise is received (dates verified through UPS website), to evaluate the merchandise.  If the customer is not completely satisfied with the quality, condition, or overall playability of the instrument, they must contact Coast Band Music at (949)768-8783 or by e-mail at CoastBandMusic@Hotmail.com.  After receiving a “Return Authorization Number”  the customer may return it, within 3 days (72 hours)  for a full refund, less Shipping and Handling Charges**.

2.  Books, reeds and harmonicas are not returnable unless defective.  If defective, replacements will be provided.

3.   Software is not returnable if opened.  If defective, replacements will be provided.

4.   Merchandise damaged while in the customer’s possession may not be returned.

5.   American Express does not refund the dealer transaction fees if we refund money on an American Express card.  These fees average around 3 ½% for Coast Band Music.  For this reason, if a customer pays with American Express and then decides to return an item for refund, there will be an additional 3 ½ % restocking fee.

6.    The customer is responsible for inspecting the merchandise upon arrival.  If damage has occurred in shipping, the customer MUST notify Coast Band Music immediately (within 24 hours), by calling (949) 768-8783 or by e-mail at CoastBandMusic@Hotmail.com, so that Coast Band Music can instruct the customer on the steps that need to be taken.  All claims of damage will have to be inspected by the Shipping company.  Coast Band Music fully insures all packages and will not replace or refund any item damaged in shipping if the customer fails to file a claim or if the claim is denied by the shipping company.

7.      All returned items must be in “new” condition.  Items that are dented, scratched or appear otherwise worn or damaged will incur a re-stocking fee of 20% or more.  This is in addition to the 7% Shipping and Handling return fee.

8.      All returned merchandise must be accompanied by the original packaging, warranties, manuals, etc..

9.      All merchandise must be returned, via UPS, to 4790 Irvine Bl. #105-321, Irvine, California, 92620.  Returns by any other means, or to any other address, will not be accepted.

**Shipping and Handling costs average about 7%.  Inasmuch as Coast Band Music provides free shipping on most orders, a 7% shipping and handling fee (minimum $6.95) will be charged on all returns.
