Linda Hughes, vocal and piano instructor, is a dynamic teacher with over 20 years of professional experience.  She received her BA in Music from UCLA.  She began her studies of classical piano at age 7 and voice at age 12.  As a teenager, she performed with a 12 piece orchestra, as well as various rock groups.

Linda has worked as a studio/session singer in Los Angeles and New York with a variety of studio musicians, doing both back-up vocals and commercials.  Her repertoire includes jazz, show tunes, country, rock, R&B and swing.  Additionally, she has performed in jazz festivals, major hotels, clubs and political events throughout the U.S. and Europe.

She has been a valued member of Coast Band Music’s teaching staff since 2005.
