After many years of private instruction, Mr. Alexander received advanced music training at Saddleback City College, Fullerton College, Los Angeles City College, the Dick Grove School of Music, Grants Music Center of Los Angeles and the Alexander Music School. Coupled with excellent communication skills and an intense desire to fill the world with music, he is an outstanding teacher.
In addition to 13 years experience as a private music instructor (with Coast Music since 2001), Henry has more than 20 years of performance and recording credits to his name. Too long to fully list here, among some of his more prestigious accomplishments are:
- with Solomon Burke, opened for The Rolling Stones and at the DVD Awards
- performed at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
- played saxophone for studio and recording projects for A&M and Taboo Records
- Performed at both the Fullerton and Berkeley Jazz Festivals
In addition to teaching woodwind students from beginner to advanced, Henry also teaches theory, harmony, arranging and musicianship.
