Dan St. Marseille

Dan St. Marseille has an international reputation as a jazz performer and recording artist.  His recordings are heard worldwide on jazz radio and have been the subject of glowing articles in such publications as Downbeat, Jazztimes, Los Angeles Times and Japan's Jazz Critic.  His performance credits include a headline performance at the prestigious Coleman Hawkins Festival.

In April of 1999, Dan was inducted into the Saddleback Valley School Districts Hall Of Fame and, in May of 2001, he was the music director for an international event entitled "Clickin' With Clax" at the Los Angeles County Museum Of Art.

Mr. St. Marseille’s predominate woodwind education came from his mentor, the legendary clarinet teacher, George Waln and Gary Foster, world famous saxophonist.  Dan has been teaching for more than 20 years and has presented workshops at major Colleges and Universities.  He has been with Coast Band Music since 1990, where he teaches clarinet, flute, saxophone and theory at all levels
