Mr. Perrego received his BA in Music from Mansfield University and his Master’s in Trumpet Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.  He then spent four years playing trumpet and French horn in the US Marine Corps.

Alan has been with Coast Band Music since 2004, where he teaches a wide selection of musical styles to brass instrument students of all ages and skill levels.  His teaching methods vary with the needs and abilities of each student.  He also teaches instrumental music at Lindbergh Middle School in the Long Beach Unified School District.
